Yall. Hillcrest Manor is great. 

Too much to write about right now and I am a tired girl. i will say this- today we saw a dance performance at this ritzy wine estate. It was amazing, but I couldnt tell if the performers loved it. it all felt so fake, just to entertain the westerners gorging themselves on couscous and having a "cultural experience". i dont know, something didnt feel right about it. they were incredibly talented by american standards and I envied their ability to DANCE, but there was some element missing. why do we all crave such authenticity when we travel, and how do we know if we've found it? can i ever really find it as a white person in Africa, and who is to judge? 

guess i have a while to find out......
